Fine food and wine

CAPE TOWN FOOD AND WINE

A Haven for Foodies

Cape Town began with FOOD and WINE. The Dutch needed to feed their sailors on the long journeys to and from the Far East, so in 1652, Cape Town was born.
They even called it Tavern of the Seas!

We have a long history of hospitality, flavourful food, fresh local ingredients and good cooks.

We have a unique cuisine,  a mixture of Eastern, European and African and the result is a spicy tasty mix of interesting flavours and delectable dishes.

  • They do a Beer Tasting of 6 Beers.

  • Add some Biltong to the Beer and you have an intense taste sensation.

Community Tourism- Giving Back to Farm Communities

In the Winelands there is a history of alcohol abuse, lack of education and poverty. Many wine farms are seeking to address the needs of their workers by building creches and schools and by creating supportive initiatives for disavantaged local communities.
By visiting the region, buying wine and supporting local businesses, you are already making a contribution to upliftment.
